Raub Students Celebrate Summer at City Arts Camp
Posted on 07/18/2018
Each week in July this summer, Raub students have participated in the City Arts Summer Camp! We are deeply invested in developing and strengthening relationships with our community partners, and through the Baum School of Art, almost 90 of our students have had the opportunity to attend this one week camp at no cost. Rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders were invited to participate in the week long camp where each day they spend time exploring different visual and performing arts.  The Baum School of Art, Community Music School, Repertory Dance Theatere, The Allentown Art Museum, Civic Theatere and Miller Symphony Hall came together to offer students exposure to art, dance, theater and instrumental music.  These scholarships allow our students to spend their days working with professional artists and musicians from the local community. Giving students an outlet to express their creativity and stay engaged in learning during the summer months is crucial to avoiding the summer slide. Several of our students were so excited to participate, they are attending multiple sessions of this camp.

Catch Raub student performances every Friday during the month of July at 4:00 pm at the Community Music School located at 1544 Hamilton Street!
